Serials: You store the serial number of EVERY product
you obtain in the database specifying the product, supplier, bill number,
bill date, warranty expiration date and any comments about the product
(example: brand name, or model number). If you need to store consecutive
serial numbers, Serialex brings you the ability of generating
them automatically. You specify the first serial number and how many
consecutive numbers you want to generate and it will store them in the
database. It will also allow you to associate ONE serial number to a
group of identical products. For example if you buy a batch of four
hundred (400) memory modules and they don't have serial numbers, you
can create a serial number (MEM0100) to identify the batch and store
only one record associated with the batch specifying that it contains
four hundred pieces. |
